  1. Preheat the oven to 175 °C (347 °F).
  2. In a bowl, cream butter while gradually adding sugar and vanilla sugar.
  3. Add the egg and mix until batter is smooth.
  4. Gradually sift cornstarch into the bowl, mix until the dough starts to clump, then proceed to knead the dough with your hands until solid.
  5. Scoop a little of the dough and roll it into balls of about 3 cm (approx. 1.18 inch) and place it on a lined baking sheet.
  6. Flatten the dough-balls with your fingers.
  7. Sprinkle the cookies with sprinkles and bake cookies in a preheated oven of 175 °C (347 °F) for 15 to 18 minutes.


*For a signature look, dip a fork in cornstarch and press the fork horizontally and vertically in the cookies.
